Lace Wig Glue | DIY for CHEAP!

Best Lace Wig Glue

While most lace front wigs come with adjustable velcro straps to help the wig fit nice and comfortably on the head, there are some situations where a little extra attachment is needed. Whether you are going to a windy destination, a theme park or just want to be extra sure that your wig will not be sliding back during the day, lace wig glue is a great way to make sure that your wig will not be moving around... or flying off! There are many brands of lace wig glue available, but since Wig Outlet is all about saving money... we are going to show you how you can attach your wig securely while using a minimal amount of money!

What's The Best Glue For Lace Front Wigs?

Our favorite budget-friendly product for attaching lace wigs:

Got2b Glued Styling Spiking Glue

Got2B Glued

STEP 1:

The first step in using Got2B Glued to attach your lace front wig is to use a cotton ball and alcohol to clean your forehead of any oils that may cause the glue to not be as effective. Simply glide a cotton ball that has been dampened with alcohol right under your natural hairline, or where your hairline would be. Make sure your skin is dry before moving on to the next step!

STEP 2:

The next step is to open the bottle of Got2B Glued and squirt a pea-sized amount into the palm of your hand. Use your pointer finger to apply the gel to the area that you cleaned in Step 1. Basically, you want to cover the area where the lace is going to be applied.

PRO TIP: A little goes a long way when using Got2B Glued Styling Products!

How To Apply Wig Glue

STEP 3:

Step three requires you to find the position where you want your lace front wig to be applied and then gently press the lace down. Hold the lace for a few seconds to allow the gel to dry. If the gel doesn't seem dry, use a blow dryer on a cool setting to ensure that the gel is dry for a firm hold before pulling the cap of the wig around the rest of your head.

STEP 4:

Style your wig as you normally would, and you're done! Your wig now has a secure hold that will last throughout the entire day. If you are prone to excessive sweating, or expect to sweat frequently throughout the day, using Got2B for securing your wig may not be the best option. This method is not waterproof, so you must keep that in mind!
